Directed by acclaimed Chinese artist and Disney illustrator Emma Yitong Shen and with an improvised live film score by award-winning concert pianist Matthew Shiel and a dramatic reading of the intertitles by acclaimed author Alastair Sim – to create an immersive cinematic experience that will celebrate the raw, emotional power of silent film and act as a passionate manifesto for why silent film is still relevant to us today.
